All rather mysterious and operating in a vacuum of non-engagement with the Final Third.

Unfortunately like too much of the Digital Britain policy implementation, there is at best lip-service being paid to those at the sharp end of need and service delivery - time for BIS to wake up!

how many separate, fragmented "groups" are going to appear before finally people get together and properly assess each area requiring service and then putting it out to tender to all the providers in a commercial way..?

We are a provider of one solution, have been for over 5 years.. Tried to talk to the CLA etc.. they don't seem overly enthusiastic to consider what is available now... only keep chasing the fibre pipe dream (as it is only this in very rural areas).

Hi Kijoma,

I agree with you that joined up thinking and action is required right now - this is precisely why the Final Third First Campaign exists :)

I have been at the sharp end of service delivery in mainly rural areas since 2002

- many folks have come along, some have stayed the course, still others have changed their thinking and perception as regards the true state of connectivity in the UK.

FttH is the eNdGAme - and FttH in NextGenUS speak means FiWi to the Human.

And there, in the FiWiPie, is a slice for companies like Kijoma too :)

Come and join us!
